One of the many benefits a single-server coffee brewer can offer you is compactness. If you’re looking for a Keurig brewer for one person, that would fit on a work desk or maybe in a tight dorm space, here are some options to choose from:

Keurig K-Mini Plus:

K-Mini Plus the upgraded version of the K-Mini (which is listed right below). Keurig calls it their slimmest machine yet, as it’s only 5″ wide. That’s less wide than the K-Mini. But the K-Mini Plus is also taller.

This newer version of the K-Mini boasts new features like an additional cup size (12 oz), strong brew button for brewing a bolder cup and a removable water reservoir. Like the K-Mini, it has no serving buttons, you simply fill it up to the size you want to brew at every use.

Dimensions:

12.1” H x 4.5” W x 11.3” D

Compatible Pods:

All Keurig K-Cup pods, non-branded pods and refillable pods.

Read about K-Mini Plus here, also consider the K-Express and K-Slim which are newer versions of compact K Cup brewers.

The Keurig K15:

The Keurig K15, also known as the Keurig Mini, is the smallest brewer from Keurig. The K15 is able to brew cup sizes 6, 8 and 10 oz. What makes this brewer small is the fact that it does not have a water reservoir, instead, you’ll add in a fresh cup of water each time you want to brew a cup of coffee.

The K15 has a single button, press and you’ll get a fresh cup of coffee, it’s that simple!

Read our previous review and comparisons of the K15 here.

Dimensions:

10.7 x 6.9 x 10.8 inches

Compatible Pods:

The Keurig K15 is compatible with any Keurig K-Cup pod. It is also compatible with My K-Cup refillable pod which allows you to brew your own coffee ground, you can buy it as a separate purchase.

BUNN MCU Coffee Maker:

While this brewer is not by Keurig, it can brew K-Cup Pods and more. Actually, BUNN MCU comes with different attachments that allow you to brew a K-Cup pod, coffee ground, tea pods and more. It can brew cup sizes up to 14 oz.

Like the K15, this brewer doesn’t have a water reservoir, which is the reason that makes them smaller in size that other brewers. You will simply add in a fresh cup of water for each cup you want to brew.

Another great feature of the BUNN MCU is that it can dispense hot water on demand, which is useful for making instant meals, hot chocolate, tea and more!

Dimensions:

9.2 x 13.5 x 16.5 inches

Compatible Pods:

Compatible with all Keurig K-Cup pods. However, it’s not to be used with refillable pods, which you don’t need anyway since the machine comes included with its own coffee ground filter.

Aiok K-Cup Brewer:

Another compact no-reservoir brewer for K-Cup pods. Aiok is very simple to use, fill the water tank (max size/volume is 12 oz), insert the K-Cup pod and hit the brew button.

This brewer is as simple as it gets, and it is quite affordable at a price under $50.

Dimensions:

7.8 x 4.3 x 9.5 in

Compatible Pods:

All K-Cup pods. Not compatible with most refillable pods.

Which of These Should You Buy?

If you’re looking for the smallest in size, your choice is between the Keurig K15 and the Aiok brewer. And although the Aiok is more affordable, we recommend the Keurig K15 over it, as the Aiok seems to be a generic brewer while the K15 comes from the trusted Keurig.

If you’re looking for the most features, then the BUNN MCU is definitely the right choice. It brews K-Cup pods, ground coffee, tea and hot water without the need for any additional accessory purchases. It is also the only one of the three brewers with a 14 oz brew size.
