Keurig K15 Comparisons:

K Mini vs. K Mini Plus:

K Mini Plus is the newly updated version of K-Mini (K15). At first glance, you can see that the design has been completely revamped to a more sleek and modern look. But of course, that’s not all.

  • K-Mini Plus is more space saving. It is 5″ wide, compared to K-Mini’s 7.5″ width. However, it is taller at 16.8″ when the reservoir lid is open. (and there’s a reason for that, just keep reading).
  • It brews four cup sizes instead of three. K Mini Plus brews 6, 8, 10 and 12 oz. There’s no buttons for size selection, you simply have to fill the water reservoir up to the size you want to brew.
  • It has a Strong Brew option where it can steep your coffee longer for a bolder brew.
  • Finally, it can accommodate travel mugs up to 7″ tall (which is why the machine is taller).
  • It has pod storage, it can hold up to 9 K-Cup pods. This is something totally new in a Keurig machine.
  • The reservoir on the K-Mini Plus is removable, which makes it easier to refill.

K-Mini Plus is compatible with all Keurig K-Cup pods, including non-branded pods and refillable filters. It is available in different colors.

Keurig K15 vs. K10 Mini:

These two are the exact same model. The K10 Mini has been discontinued by Keurig and replaced with the K15. The K15 might have some new updated hardware or software for it to perform better, but both machines still operate pretty much the same way. They’re the same capacity, size and features, but obviously, you’ll have to buy the K15 and not the K10 (even if it’s available for sale), as there’s no point of buying a discontinued product.

Keurig K15 vs. K55 & K50:

The K55 model is larger than the K15, so it makes a better choice for more than one user, or for someone who wants a reservoir (48 oz) that keeps more water (instead of refiling for every use).

The K55 brews the same cup sizes as the K15, 6, 8 and 10 oz. But it has a dedicated button for each cup size. It also has more light indicators for water level, descaling and heating. It is compatible with the same K-Cup pods as the K15, it works with the same My K-Cup refillable pod as well. You can read our review and comparisons of the Keurig K55 here.

Keurig K15 vs. K250:

The K250 is a Keurig 2.0 brewer, so that immediately unlocks features that the K15 doesn’t have at all. Keurig 2.0 brews can brew a lot more cup sizes as well as carafe sizes, and they use pods like K-Cups, K-Mugs and K-Carafes.

  • Cup sizes: 4, 6, 8 and 10 oz
  • K-Mug sizes: 12, 14 and 16 oz.
  • K-Carafe sizes: 22, 26 and 30 oz.

The K250 has a 40 oz water reservoir and has an option for strength control, so you can enjoy your drink regular or bold. Also, it has a black and white touch screen display that makes it very easy to customize your drinks.

The Keurig K250, like other Keurig 2.0 brewers, is only compatible with pods labeled for Keurig 2.0 brewers.
